Loving ourselves to love others ( Chapter 33 )

Very often people think about the EGO when we say, i love myself, or i put myself first, or i need to love myself to love others, but it has nothing to do with being egocentric, It is all about what you have and what you can give. In simple words, you cannot give nor offer to someone else, what you do not have, if you dont have enough self esteem, love, and respect for yourself, you cant offer or try to give to someone else, it is quite simple. Somehow, during our growing process, some adults taught us that saying i love myself or believing it was some kind of egocentric affirmation that we should not do or say or even think. Wrong! they should have encourage us to repeat it in a healthy way, so that we could believe we deserve love, we are love, and so, we can give love to others. If i want to give you money, i must have it, or i will give you empty hands when you reach out for money, same thing is with love, if i dont have it within me, i cant give it to you. Loving ourselves is very difficult because we make it be this way, when we criticize ourselves, tag ourselves, or disrespect ourselves, we are being far away from love, and the more we do it, the harder it become to be love, instead, it make us feel empty, resented, angry, and every negative feeling you could imagine. If we came from GOD, and GOD is love, we are LOVE. So the mistake is putting so much effort in changing what was naturally within us to become someone we dont really want, a person without love for himself and for others. We must go back to the roots of life, we are love, and if we protect this amazing energy that can achieve miracles, impossible things, that can conquer anything and can solve everything, we will then be happier, and blessed, because that is what we have, who we are, LOVE.
